The Motor Boat Awards are hosted by Motor Boat & Yachting, and the awards are judged purely on the boats\u2019 design, ability and value for money in their chosen market place<\/p>

The finalists for the 2025 Motor Boat Awards have been announced. After months of testing, reviewing and debating, the judges have selected the shortlist of boats in each of the nine main categories from which the winners will be chosen (see below).<\/p>

As always, every boat has to go through an exhaustive sea trial process just to make the shortlist as it\u2019s the only way our judges can be certain all the finalists have the performance and seakeeping to match their showroom appeal.<\/p>

This year we have also launched a new category for innovation to reward the boat builders which have dared to be different and helped develop innovations that should benefit us all.<\/p>

We are therefore pleased to announce that the Quarken 35 Cabin Tourer has won the main prize in the category of best adventure boats and, together with Nord Star, Saxdor, Targa, Wellcraft and XO, has been ranked among the highest quality and most useful boats on the market.<\/p>
